I love the analogy used here. Imagine a tree planted ALONG the riverbank, that tree would always be full of nurture. That tree will never be thirsty. That tree will continue to grow. It will never wither. It will always bear fruit and will never be fruitless. It will multiply. People will see it and watch how it continues to bloom. Because of this tree, other trees will begin to blossom beside it barely the same types of fruit. The river is its supplier! Now when I look at this analogy and compare it to those of us in Christ, I see that we have the grace to possess such beauty. The Riverbank = the word of God The Tree = we are the tree We will never be thirsty; we will always be refreshed and full of blessings because we are along the riverbank. People will eat from us and will be filled and satisfied. Our existence will call people to Christ. Our fruit will entice people into Salvation. How awesome is this?! How awesome is it to know that we can always be filled?!! With the word of God, we will never be hungry or thirsty! We will never be in want or need! We will always have peace, and we will always be refreshed!!! ~ItsGodsMercy
